The main purpose of the festival is to revive the wedding traditions and support basic family values and family authority.

The wedding festival "Ssypchina of Honey" will present wedding traditions and rituals of various people living in Arkhangelsk region. Thereby the festival will reach the international level contributing to the strengthening of international relations.

Within the frames of the festival the following activities will take place: the Inter-regional conference "Sustainable development and life support of the region, roundtable of the Council of Nationalities of Arkhangelsk region, scientific and practical conference "On the Problems and Prospects of beekeeping development in the North", demonstration of the elements of wedding ceremonies of different nations, master classes on cooking national wedding dishes of various nations, interactive exhibition "The Hollowed Boats at Ustye", excursions with visits to region museums, tourist attractions "Chudskoye settlement" and "Urochishche" (Ravine), fair of beekeeping products "Honey Saviour", exhibitions, contests of masters of decorative and applied arts, fairs, master classes on traditional crafts, folk festivity holiday “Ssypchina of Honey”.

The festival "Ssypchina of Honey" will let tens of newlyweds celebrate their wedding in original and memorable way.
